The 24-pin motherboard cable draws power directly from the cable it is extending, instead of utilising a separate cable that needs to connecting to your motherboard. This serves to not only reduce cable clutter, but also makes installation easier.

In place of an RGB cable, the Strimer Wireless 24-pin motherboard extension cable integrates a wireless receiver into its design. Because of this, the cable can communicate with the Lian Li USB L-Wireless Controller using a 2.4GHz connection. Enabling you to adjust the lighting of your Strimer Wireless Series extension cables via Lian Li L-Connect 3 software. This program features multiple pre-set lighting effects for your cables. Plus, it allows you to manually adjust each individual light guide, perfect for creating personalised displays.

Seamless Aesthetics

Lian Li has been making consistent updates to the design of their Strimer extension cable with every generation. This includes some subtle changes to the design that drastically improve the overall aesthetics.

One of these upgrades is that the light guides now extend to the side of the cable. This both conceals the power delivery cable underneath and eliminates dead zones that may have lacked RGB lighting in previous generations. In addition to hiding the power cable, the light guides also create a more streamlined appearance, that can also be appreciated from a wider range of angles.

Additionally, the male end of the 24-pin motherboard cable has been adjusted so that the power delivery cable is almost completely hidden. The protective shell has been repositioned to completely cover the cables as they terminate at the connector, creating a streamlined aesthetic.
